DGBK was founded in 1972 and has been steadily regarded as one of the leading design firms in Vancouver. Quality of design and functionality are two of the fundamentals of architecture that we value most, since it is our belief that great buildings must inspire the public, while also providing a clear and workable design solution. DGBK and its Consultant Team have developed a working methodology that incorporates the most current thinking and technologies in sustainable design.

We view sustainable design as an important contribution to mitigating environmental impacts but also in designing buildings and their settings as a healthy environments.

We have successfully completed several LEED gold projects and are also well versed in the new Energy Step Code as well as Net-Zero design strategies.
